Firefall, the new online multiplayer shooter from Red 5 Studios, puts you in a not too distant future, where humanity is forced to seek help from a few new acquaintances, aliens, to get out of the miseries of a devastating war.

But the remedy is worse than the disease: the Melding, this newcomer alien race, doesn't come with exactly peaceful intentions, and soon humanity is first besieged, and then defeated and surrendered, doomed to survive in small pockets, investigating ways to turn the tables.
